Top Notch is a young 2.5 year old buck in with my two Ober-Type Experimental’s for his first kids in 2026. He’s currently a mixed bag of parts with the genetic potential to develop into and produce some very respectable Oberhasli including the main reason I bought him, his line-breed on Cream-of-Kansas Time Delay.

Top Notch’s Grandsire, Ober-boerd Brash, is out of GCH Ober-Boerd Bree FS91 EEEE and 2011 ADGA National Champion (scroll about halfway down) and Best Udder and sired by *B Haycreeks Salute Spartacus. Brash is also a full sibling to GCH Ober-boerd Bacardi 4*M who also accomplished DHIR Milk Test Top Ten in 2019 with Butterfat.

Top Notch’s great granddam on both his dam and sire’s side, D’Taveron MTD Deirdre is out of SGCH D’Taveron HRQ Maia, a 3x Test Top Ten doe. Maia was Top Ten in Milk Production, Butterfat, & Protein for 2013, Milk Production in 2014, and Butterfat Production in 2015 doe. Maia is also the granddam of Devonshire IJR Dance-A-Jig, a 2017 ADGA Spotlight doe.

Rocket Man has been a wonderful buck for the Noblet Creek herd helping us maintain and blend Daisy’s line. Masterbatch is a breed back to Daisy who is hitting his stride this season and covering roughly half the herd along with getting collected so we’ve decided after Rocket Man’s latest run with the older does and his own collection he will be looking for a new herd.
